Our Mission
We intend, with God’s help, to share our lives and His love, locally and internationally, through using our buildings and resources, our personal example and friendship, and by telling our stories so that people may develop a saving relationship with Him: and by praying for discernment as to what are the needs, and how best we can help meet those needs, in our Church, Community and World.

At Chipping Sodbury Baptist Church we believe that we are called to be God’s voice in our families, local communities and the wider world. Sharing God’s love with others is not only obedience to the words of Jesus in Matthew 28, but our response to God’s love for us.
The Mission Strategy Team meets regularly to seek God’s guidance for the outreach activities at Chipping Sodbury Baptist Church.
Mission is at the heart of everything the church seeks to do.
Present Activities
Support and training for all who want to be able to share ‘their story’ with others
Support for local outreach activities both Church and Community based
Exploring ways of sharing God’s love with today’s society, for example – Messy Church and Street Pastors
Exploring ways of making our existing buildings a more efficient resource for the community
To give financial support to BMS Home and World Mission
To support our BMS link missionaries in Thailand
To support other mission initiatives eg. Samaritan’s Purse, Tear Fund, Operation Agri and Tools with a Mission
To support Hosanna Church and School in Kampala, Uganda
