Hosanna Primary School was started in 1998 by Nsubuga Anne to offer children in the slum a good standard of education and Christian teaching.
Kisenyi is a very deprived part of Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. There is widespread unemployment, and families live in desperate conditions.
Many children have lost one or both parents to the Aids Virus.
Parents and Carers struggle to afford school fees but recognise the real opportunity education offers to their children
The children LOVE going to Hosanna School.
It is a safe haven for them in a tough area. They are well looked after and thanks to funds from UK get free porridge every day.
Thanks to the work of the dedicated staff, they have great hopes for their future!
Please help us to continue to support these children.
Hosanna Primary School Support Group
has been involved with the school since January 2003 and is now registered with the Charity Commission.
Initially set up to provide free daily porridge for all pupils, the group has been instrumental in providing a water tap on site, play equipment, desks, improved buildings The relationship between all at Hosanna School and supporters in Chipping Sodbury and Yate has developed and flourished over the years.
Visitors from the UK have seen the improvements that our gifts have funded.
The money you donate goes directly to the school.
