Yate & Sodbury Joint Churches Celebration

Sunday 27th June 2010 @ 10.30am in Kingsgate Park

Bring a packed lunch and stay for a picnic. Childrens events continue all afternoon.

There will be no morning service at the High Street Church this Sunday.

Chipping Sodbury Festival starts this week

As is traditional at the start of the Chipping Sodbury Festival, we will be holding a joint service at St John’s Church this week. Therefore, there will be no service at CSBC on Sunday 13th June! Instead why not join us at 9.30 at St John’s Church.

Don’t miss the Street Fayre and Carnival Procession on Saturday 19 June 2010. Look out for the Church floar which is sure to be excellant again. Our theme this year is Favourite Books.

Also on Sunday 20 June join us at CSBC for the Festival Songs of Praise starting at 6.30pm.

Community well-being and personal happiness

On Thursday January 28^th there will be a “conversation” in Chipping Sodbury Town Hall – around the theme of promoting community well-being and personal happiness. Four MPs, including our own, Steve Webb, were recently involved in publishing a Government Cross Party Report on entitled Faith in the Future. The evidence presented during the eighteen months of the inquiry leading to the report identified some guiding principles for what it means to flourish as a human being read more

We are a family orientated group meeting on the High Street in Chipping Sodbury. We bring together people of different age groups and backgrounds. From our energetic toddler groups to our senior’s clubs we have a place for everyone. Our mid-week activities are especially enjoyed by children aged between 5-16 years and our Women’s Own and Luncheon club are ready to welcome the older citizens of Yate and Chipping Sodbury.

Whether you are just visiting or wishing to explore the Christian faith we look forward to welcoming you.

What we have to offer:

Bible-based teaching that is applicable to life today

Two regular Sunday service times: 10.30am and 6.30pm
